My name is Corinne Schillizzi and I am from St. Louis, Missouri. I am a freshman at TCU and, I absolutely love Texas! I am a political science and fashion merchandising double major. After my four years at TCU, I plan on attending law school. I have one sister who is 13 months older than me, she goes to school in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I have a Morkie (Maltese and Yorkie mix) whose name is Brodie. He is absolutely adorable, but has way too much energy for such a small dog. In high school, I was a member of the Varsity volleyball team and I also played club volleyball. Further, my junior and senior year I coached club volleyball. I greatly enjoyed the experience of coaching. My favorite sport to watch is hockey. I grew up going to St. Louis Blues games with my family. I was able to attend the Winter Classic this year in St. Louis which was incredible. Two of my favorite hobbies are shopping and traveling. My favorite place that I have traveled is the British Virgin Islands, the water and scenery is beyond beautiful. Before I die, I want to travel to all 7 continents and all 50 states and explore the world as much as possible! Through this class, I have greatly expanded my knowledge on the 1960s. Looking back, I now realize that the decade of the 60s really shaped the world that we live in today. The major events, such as the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement, have changed society for the better and still impact how we live today. Throughout this semester, I composed three papers about the 1960s: a song analysis, a film analysis, and a rhetorical case study.
